ToriBOX creators can earn from two streams: subscription viewing and ToriBOX Coins (pay-as-you-view unlocks). For eligible titles, creators can earn up to 60% of net revenue attributable to their content.
Important: This page is a summary, not a contract. Final payout terms, deductions, eligibility rules, and any custom deal terms are set out in each creator agreement.
1. Subscription Revenue Share
When subscribers watch eligible content on ToriBOX, a creator pool is funded from net subscription revenue for that payout cycle.
How it works:
- We calculate net subscription revenue after applicable platform fees, payment processing fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and similar deductions
- We allocate a creator pool for eligible content from that net revenue
- Your share is calculated using your content's share of qualified watch time and other anti-fraud or quality controls where applicable
Example: If your title accounts for 10% of qualified watch time in a payout cycle, it may earn 10% of that cycle's subscription creator pool.
2. Coin Unlock Revenue Share
Users buy Coins to:
- Watch individual episodes
- Unlock premium stories
When users spend Coins on eligible episodes or titles, creators share in the net revenue attributable to those unlocks.
- For standard eligible deals, creators can earn up to 60% of net coin revenue attributable to their content
- ToriBOX retains the remaining share to cover platform operations, payments, support, marketing, and growth
- Originals, advances, minimum guarantees, or custom licensing deals may use different commercial terms
3. Payout Timing and Thresholds
ToriBOX processes creator payouts twice monthly, subject to reporting close, reconciliation, and fraud checks.
- Current minimum payout threshold: ₦10,000
- Balances below the threshold roll over to the next payout cycle
- Final statements may reflect refunds, failed payments, reversals, chargebacks, and other adjustments
- Supported payout methods and territories are confirmed in your creator agreement
4. Rights and Licensing
Creators keep ownership of their work unless they enter into a separate exclusive, Original, acquisition, or commissioned-content agreement with ToriBOX.
By submitting content, you confirm that you own or control the rights needed to license the title, music, performances, artwork, and any other third-party materials included in it.
5. Eligibility and Content Standards
ToriBOX welcomes emerging and established creators, but monetization depends on meeting platform requirements.
- Your content must meet our technical, editorial, and community standards
- You must have the legal right to upload and monetize the work
- Titles may be reviewed before approval for distribution or monetization
- Some formats, territories, or monetization features may be available only to approved creators or approved titles
Micro-dramas, short stories, and first-time filmmakers are welcome, but all content must pass rights and quality review.
